Women of all ages with an interest in farming whether large or small are welcome to join. Women from all farming interests are involved eg. beef, dairy, sheep, fruit growing, goats, alpacas etc.
Women on Farms meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month (except for November when it is the second Tuesday) and we visit a wide variety of farming enterprises. The meetings are generally held from 10 a.m. to about 2 :30 p.m. with members bringing their own lunch, drink and chair. (and gumboots if necessary) .
Parking is limited at some of the venues, therefore, we encourage members to car-pool where possible. This is a great opportunity to get together with other members from your area and share the traveling.
On some occasions we may go on a bus trip to visit something further afield.
Husbands and partners are invited occasionally, but only when stated in the directions for the day.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE is $25.00
The membership year is 1st December 2023 to 30th November 2024
